Since its founding in 1894, U.L. has held the undisputed reputation as leader in U.S. product safety certification, and is one of the most recognized certifications around the globe.

Receiving U.L. Certification is not easy, which is why most monitoring stations do not have the U.L. "seal of approval". In fact, of approximately 2,400 central monitoring stations in North America, only around 400 of them are U.L. Certified.
